2017 in Review

Welcome 2018 - another year to set goals, seek new opportunities, go on adventures, and discover new things! But before we dive ahead, it's always good to reflect on the past. 2017 was a great year full of new experiences, fun races, yummy foods, and wonderful moments.

First, here is a recap of my running mileage. I ran 2,548.3 miles in 2017 and the following miles in each month:

  • January = 225
  • February = 226
  • March = 266
  • April = 166.2
  • May = 179.5
  • June = 205.5
  • July = 214.4
  • August = 256.9
  • September = 263.5
  • October = 176.3
  • November = 161.5
  • December = 207.5

January through March were build up for the Boston Marathon in April, and July though August were build up for my October marathon. Always remember though - quantity isn't everything. It's the quality of those miles that really counts!
